Lakewood Township's Planning Board has a packed agenda for tonight's public hearing.
Applications include
• SP 2475 Towbin Realty LLC - office addition at 850 Towbin Avenue. Attorney Rob Shea is representing Sudler who is objecting to the application.
• SP 2487 Sunset Rd Sephardic Congregation - 220 Sunset Avenue; Demolish the residential house they currently use "ad hoc" for their Shul and Kollel and replace it with a new 2-story building.
The application seeks a parking variance to provide only 9 parking spaces where 28 spaces are required, as well a variance to permit them to eliminate the entire required buffer. See our full story here.
• SP 2497 Birchas Chaim - 1111 Vine Avenue, application seeks to expand current Yeshiva building with a dormitory.
At their last public hearing, Planning Board members pushed back on this application as the Board is currently in litigation over the legality of dormitories. See our full story here.
• SP 2498 and SP 2499 Migdal Bais Yaakov, 541 Joe Parker Road
The applications are to build an elementary school building as well as a building for their seminary and dormitory.
Their attorney, Sean Gertner, has previously represented to the Planning Board that the Board lacks jurisdiction to permit a dormitory. See our full story here.
