A Lakewood resident has recently closed on the purchase of a luxurious high rise building with 107 apartments in Little Rock, Arkansas, for the price tag of $12 million, FAA News has learned.
The building just so happens to be named The Lakewood House Luxury Highrise Apartments.
Lakewood House APT CB LLC, managed by Lakewood resident Shlomo Goldwasser, is the buyer. The seller is Lakewood House LLP, led by James P. Matthews.
The Lakewood House Luxury Highrise Apartments is one of the most recognized and known buildings in North Little Rock. There are 16 floors, including the penthouse floor. The view is beautiful from every apartment. From the south side of the building, there is a wonderful panoramic view of downtown Little Rock.
The building contains 107 apartments, landscaped gardens, a heated pool, and a hospitality room for special events.
In addition to the residential apartment building, the sale also included the adjoining 3,673 sq foot home of Tangles Salon and Lakewood Fish and Seafood House.
Public records obtained by FAA News indicate that the sellers purchased the property in 1999 for $4.478 million.
In 2019, Serenity Apartments Investment LLC, also represented by Shlomo Goldwasser, purchased the Serenity Apartments, a 328-unit apartment complex in north Baton Rouge, Louisiana, for $15.5 million. The sellers, Elevation Financial Group purchased the Serenity Apartments, in August 2016 for $4 million. At that time, half the apartments were "uninhabitable" and the grounds were in "complete disrepair," even though the property didn't flood, and Elevation spent $3.8 million on restoring the property before reselling it.
