YESHIVA TORAH VODAAS PLANS FUTURE CAMPUS NEXT TO BAIS YAAKOV OF JACKSON

Yeshiva Torah Vodaath, located in Brooklyn, has just closed on the $1,180,000 purchase of a 1.59 acres lot at 257 East Veterans Highway in Jackson Township, FAA News has learned.

The seller is Manap Realty LLC of Staten Island, New York.

This lot is adjacent to the site on which Bais Yaakov of Jackson recently received Site Plan approval from the Township's Planning Board.

Public records obtained by FAA News indicate that on February 21, 2023, Bais Yaakov of Jackson entered a contract to purchase the property from Manap Realty LLC, however, that proposal apparently fell through, because on April 21, 2023, Manap Realty LLC entered into a contract to sell the property to Congregation Supporters of Torah, which appears be Yeshiva Torah Vodaath.

In the past, in Lakewood, girl schools have opposed applications when boys schools sought approval to build nearby (for example, Bnos Esther Malka opposed Mesivta Gaon Yaakov, and parents of Meoros Rochel Leah opposed Cheder Bnei Torah's application). It remains to see if there will be similar opposition in Jackson, especially if a dormitory is proposed, and especially because Torah Vodaath purchased land that Bais Yaakov tried to buy.

The lot is also down the road from The Vineyards, Royal Grove, and from where, as previously reported here on FAA News, Yeshiva Nefesh Hachaim recently purchased land for a Yeshiva and dormitory.

Public records obtained by FAA News indicate that in 2022, Manap Realty paid $18,222.19 in property taxes, and that they purchased the lot on May 10, 2019 from Cetnar Edwards for $714,000.

It's actually not Yeshiva Torah Vodaath. It's the Lakewood Cheder. Lots of shtick happening there. They're using a small organization in Brooklyn to purchase the property. People involved in the organization are related to Rottenberg from the Cheder.
