LAKEWOOD CRASH REPORT - SEPTEMBER 2023




Motor vehicle crashes in Lakewood Township once again increased in September from August.


Crashes also increased in August from July.


As previously reported here on FAA News, back in May 2023, Mayor Coles had no answer to Central Avenue resident Avi Gordon who questioned why traffic safety isn't taken into consideration as more and more construction is approved.

As first reported here on FAA News, R' Hershel Herskowitz is running to fill the Committee seat being vacated by Mike D'Elia. R' Hershel, who is running as an independent candidate on the ballot for the General Election, has emphasized that "while it's one thing to develop land, continuing to permit unabated land construction without consultation with our own in-house experts and with no associated traffic studies and infrastructure improvements is simply not the way.
