In a new video released today, R' Aaron Lang explains the importance of voting for a fresh slate of candidates to the Lakewood Board of Education - because the current Board, which does not support his litigation, is leading us toward financial collapse.
Mr. Lang, a veteran teacher who has selflessly defied the odds on behalf of school aid funding for all of Lakewood's students, is supporting Avrohom Schubert, Eli Eisenbach, and Yoni Morgenstern who are running together for membership to the Board of Education under the slogan "Fixing the Formula."
Mr. Lang's selfless efforts over the past decade on behalf of all of Lakewood's students have, oddly, been rebuffed by the current Board of Education.
As previously reported here on FAA News, after continuous delays by the Commissioner of Education, Mr. Lang has just filed a new motion for aid in Litigants Rights, seeking for the court to speed up fairer funding for Lakewood.
Mr. Lang highlighted that if the Appellate Division refuses to grant his motion, the governor will be able to delay the matter from getting back to Court until 2025 - when he is already out of office and likely enjoying a U.S. Senate position - and eventually the legislature is going to tell us to pony up and pay even higher taxes to cover all the loans.
As the current BOE supports the commissioner, who continues to stall in providing fairer funding for Lakewood, it is imperative to get out and vote for the fresh slate of BOE candidates that support this litigation!

Election Day is Tuesday, November 7.
