RABBI LUBIN'S SHUL RECEIVES JACKSON PLANNING BOARD APPROVAL

The Jackson Township Planning Board on Monday night unanimously granted approval to Bais Medrash of Jackson, led by Rav Chaim Lubin, to construct a shul and a connected house for the rabbi at 217 Brewers Bridge Road, near South Cooks Bridge Road.

The shul was represented by Attorney Donna Jennings Esq., Engineer Haler Consulting, and Traffic Expert Scott Kennel.

The preliminary and final major site plan application sought bulk variances from Ordinance Section 244-46(D) with respect to minimum lot depth and to permit an accessory structure in the front yard, where same is prohibited.

No major lot area variances were required due to the Township's new ordinance which permits shuls on smaller lots.

This was the Board's second hearing on this shul. The Board heard most of the testimony on May 20, 2024. Tonight the Board heard testimony from Mr. Kennel.

No members of the public spoke up tonight regarding the application.
