In November 2022, a new political action committee (PAC) called “United Ocean County" was founded by two women, Chanie Eichorn and Hadassah Burnstein. They are married to developer Mordechai Eichorn and Mordy Burnstein, who is now running for reelection to the Jackson Township Council.
A PAC is a tax-exempt 527 organization that "pools campaign contributions from members and donates those funds to campaigns for or against candidates, ballot initiatives, or legislation."
According to their filings with the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission, their mission and business purpose is "to support and promote business and community friendly policies, legislation, and regulations at, with, and to, local, county and state government in New Jersey."
(Is that another way of saying "to stop anti-development efforts?"🤔)
A FAA News investigation reveals that since its establishment, this PAC has received $255,738.06 in donations from numerous developers and other land use professionals.
Curiously, their legal filings professes that most of these donations get spent on restaurant dinners, travel, and unidentified "consulting."

In Lakewood, Rich Roberts spent tens of thousands of dollars to stop development next to where he lives!
These businesspeople, lawyers and engineers make this "investment" for business reasons. The engineers and lawyers add this cost to their billing rates so the Jackson residents end up paying for the "pay to play" donations.
Thank you, FAA, for your excellent reporting. The people yearn for the truth.
It's about time someone exposed these phonies. And believe me once the opposition gets in power eichhorn will buy them out as well
