Ocean County has 481,397 registered voters. The county received 53,129 mail-in ballots. An additional 108,853 voters (22.61% of total registered voters) voted early.

Cong. Chris Smith wins 23rd term in Congress.


Rep. Jeff Van Drew secures additional term.


Lakewood Board of Fire Commissioners - Yakov Steinberg and Yehuda Gold have won their uncontested reelection.

Lakewood Township Committee and Board of Education - incumbents are expected to win.

The race for Jackson Township Counsel is too close to call due to the need to count the remaining mail-in and provisional ballots.




Ocean County Board of Commissioners - Republicans Jennifer Bacchione and Robert Arace are beating Democrats Karen Sugdan and Regina C. Discenza.


Toms River Ward 2 Council (1 year unexpired term) - Republican William R. Byrne is defeating Democrat Zack Dougherty.


Jackson Board of Education - Erica Osmond, Michael Walsh, and Tina Kas are defeating Gustavo Acevedo and Jason Such.

Trump has 85% chance of winning


NYT: For the first time tonight, we consider Trump likely to win the presidency. He has an advantage in each of Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin. To win, Harris would need to sweep all three. There is still a lot of vote left, but in the voting so far, Trump is narrowly but discernibly ahead.

FOX NEWS: President Trump has won the election, and will be the 47th President of the United States.

Fox News just called PA for Trump, and he is at 267 and will easily get to 270. Harris has no path to 270.
