JENN KUHN APPOINTED JACKSON TOWNSHIP MAYOR, MORDY BURNSTEIN APPOINTED COUNCIL PRESIDENT

At a special meeting held Friday morning, the Jackson Township Council voted to appoint Council President Jennifer Kuhn to the position of mayor.

The appointment comes following Mayor Mike Reina's recent resignation.

Kuhn will remain in the position until December 31, 2026, the unexpired term of Reina's position.

It wasn't all roses. A motion was also made to appoint Council Member Ken Bressi. Kuhn worked hard to block that motion from getting a vote.

Mordy Burnstein was appointed to Kuhn's Council President position. Giuseppe Palmeri was appointed Council Vice President.

A vacancy now exists in Kuhn's Council position.
