Jackson Jewish Volunteer Ambulance, which has been laying the groundwork for a new volunteer ambulance corps serving the entire Jackson Community as well as the greater Ocean County Community area, has just unveiled an emergency call number.
The number to call for emergencies only is (732) 917-0000.
With a fleet of state-of-the-art Ambulances and the latest medical equipment, Jackson's Hatzolas Nefashos aims to handle medical and other emergency situations, including rescues.
True to its name - Hatzolas Nefashos - their criteria for qualification is highly trained EMTs and experienced who are able to provide life-saving care on the scene and during transport to the hospital.
This criteria is key for the "Hatzolas Nefashos" the organization aims to do.
No politics, no internal fighting, no "we're better than you," simply "highly trained and experienced EMTs who are able to provide life-saving care on the scene and during transport to the hospital."
True to their name "Hatzolas Nefashos!"
JJVA provides medical transportation to those in need. When every second counts, and a fast response time needs to be ensured, JJVA will respond to any type of emergency, from car accidents and heart attacks to falls and strokes.
Additionally, JJVA also provides non-emergency medical transportation, such as transportation to and from doctor’s appointments and dialysis.
JJVA also holds frequent community-wide awareness programs in order to promote proper safety habits.

Anyways, the ad says "No politics, no we're better than you...". Yet when you click on the application link it says "I obligate myself not to join any other emergency medical org in the Lakewood area for a period of 5 years". Hmm sure doesn't sound like politics to me.

This is straight politics. It's run by someone who wants to be on Hatzalah but wasn't accepted so he went against his Rov & started this which is completely unnecessary as Hatzalah of central jersey has amazing response time for Jackson
Ezras Noshim Ambulance took years to bring it to fruition.
Is there any politics involved in the objections?
We think it's all about politics and raising funds.
The Lakewood Chevra Kadisha has also political issues, and numerous individuals wanted to start another one.
Competition is always great, even in Kashrus.
When we started Lakewood's Hatzolah, others were very much against it and claimed Lakewood EMS was taking care of everything for us.
Looking back in retrospect, we followed our saichel ha'yoshor and continued setting it up regardless.
Sadly, The Rabbonim of Hatzolah does not understand the organization's internal workings. Therefore, it could run more smoothly.
I used to be part of it, I resigned.
THIS IS NOT called for if you didnt get on to 3 hatzalah then YOUR the issue dont take people lives on your ego and your sickness just move on in life !!!!! and find something that you can do for the klal ... not to do a imaturity move on life threatning people!!!!!!!!
One who didn't get on to Hatzolah is usually because of politics.
So let's cut it to the chase, politics? VAAD?, Corruption, etc. That's some of Lakewood problems not their solutions.

THEY HAVE TENS OF EMTS IN JACKSON, AND A NICE COUPLE OF MEDICS TOO, AND THEN OF COURSE AMBULANCES WITH MEDIC TRUCKS AND EVERYTHING WE CAN NEED. SO FOR WHAT STUPID REASON WILL YOU OPEN A NEW GROUP OF IMATURE BUFFERS, LOSERS, WHO FOR THE RIGHT REASON WERE NOT ACCEPTED TO HATZOLAH OF CJ BH. AND I AM SURE THAT IF NOT ALL THEN PROBABLY MOST OF THEESE LOSERS FIRST TRIED TO GET ON TO HATZOLAH OF CJ AND BH WERE NOT ALLOWED ON. SO IF YOU ONLY MEAN THE KLAL THAN PLEASE BE SMART AND CLOSE DOWN THIS NEW UNNEEDED ORGINIZATION AND SPONSOR ALL THE EQUIPMENT AND TRUCKS TO HATZOLAH OF CJ THAT WILL SHOW HOW YOU MEAN THE KLALS GOOD, AND IT WILL BE A BIGGER ZICHUS FOR YOU.
