LAKEWOOD ELECTION ANALYSIS: MAJORITY OF FRUM COMMUNITY DID NOT SUPPORT RABBI SCHNALL

A total of 25,590 Lakewood residents cast their vote for this General Election.

The breakdown is as follows:

4,573 early voting

15,513 votes cast day of

5,504 votes by mail ballot

25,590 total

A total of 9,382 vote by mail ballots were issued. As only 5,504 ballots were returned, 3,878 ballots were not returned.

Even with early voting available the entire week prior to Election Day, and with voting by mail being available as well, only 42.8% of Lakewood's 58,995 registered voters cast a vote in this election.

Accordingly, more than 57% of registered voters in Lakewood did NOT come out to vote in the election.

Rabbi Avi Schnall's campaign team emphasized that the goal was to have a big turn out, thereby showing Trenton "huge voting numbers." This campaign was backed with a very costly campaign, letters from Roshei Yeshiva and Rabbonim, and even offering free tuition.

In perspective, this campaign was a massive failure.

There wasn't exactly any "huge voting number."

The Democrat voters for Rabbi Schnall include the Hispanic, black and senior votes too.

In reality, a grand total of just over 25% of the frum vote heeded the "united in one voice" call to vote for Rabbi Schnall. Most of the frum population did not pay much attention to this massive campaign.

On another note, there was a lot of talk of Assembly Republicans winning a majority. This did not occur. In fact, Democrats won an even larger majority. According, Rabbi Schnall's vote will be meaningless to the Democrats. More importantly, he will not have any leverage to be able to threaten the democratic party that he will flip to the republican party.

On a final note: Immediately during his victory speech, Rabbi Schnall declared that the 30th district is now part of the Democratic caucus majority.

That is in stark contrast to BMG Rosh Yeshiva Rav Malkiel Kotler's confident assurance that "this was about voting for the person, not the party."

Immediately upon declaring victory, the true colors have come right out of the closet!

The fact that Rabbi Schnall's vote will be meaningless to the Democrats means that he will have no leverage to demand tuition relief from them.

That means, no money coming for any of us.

Rep Garry Schaer, Avi's Mentor already came out of the closet.

This campaign must have costed upwards of $250,000.00 which could have gone to tuition.

The Oilum is beholden to the Yeshiva because of the bakshish they receive, nebech.

Only certain individuals with nursing homes and other gesheften may reap any benefits, but the total voters will not benefit at all.

Remember Covid and all of the frauds on the oilum, But the Yeshiva says they all have short memories.

That no money was coming to the people struggling with tuition was obvious from the outset as the democrats were a majority in NJ for years and haven’t offered it
Why does mr schnall think by him being voted in he’ll be able to change the democrats position on this he’s still a lone voice
The bright side is he has 2 years to get this done, otherwise even those who voted for him will lose their trust in “our gedolim” “one voice one vote “ slogans
And perhaps “Adas korach” was right after all…
It remains to be seen
And thank you for putting the truth out their though it may hurt sometimes

So now that he has no leverage, can we start a recall petition for a new election?
Pretty confident that they can't redo what they did yesterday and con the masses again.

Circle, you are 100% right.
The politicians laugh at the Jews. For a couple of bucks, all morality goes out the window! For a promise of a couple of dollars, they get the block vote to support all their LGBQ... legislation!
Embarrassing & sad
