LAKEWOOD'S LAND USE BOARDS ARE WORKING HARD TO ENSURE THEY REMAIN OPEN TO LITIGATION

Jackson Township's Planning and Zoning Boards have their own professional traffic experts.

Lakewood Township's Planning and Zoning Boards do not.

As previously reported here and here on FAA News, pending litigation highlights why Lakewood's boards would benefit from getting their own professional traffic expert.

Curiously, however, both Boards are now soliciting proposals for professionals for the coming year, and neither are seeking their own professional traffic expert.

Both boards have published requests for proposals only for an Engineer and Planner, but not for a separate traffic expert.

Looks like Adam Pfeffer will have another successful year of telling Judge Hodgson "the applicant's professionals provided expert testimony that the application would not cause any traffic concerns, and that the Board does not have their own traffic expert which could have refuted the applicant's professionals."

If they hired their own traffic experts, they would lose their kickbacks. They know the reports are bogus.
