Today is truly the end of an era.
Today at 5:30pm, the Lakewood Township Committee will hold their final regular meeting for 2023.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Clerk will take a roll call, taking attendance of the Committee - including Mike D'Elia.
This will be the final time that the Clerk will check Mike D'Elia's attendance as at the Committee's next meeting - which will take place in January 2024 - incoming Committee person Elect Deborah Fuentes will be administered the Oath of Office.

Does that mean that D'Elia will also receive his last paycheck for a job he hasn't shown up for in a few Years??
I think he worked long enough to make sure he gets his pension and health insurance.

I agree with Comment #3. I lost count of at how many fires I met Mike Delia at at every hour of the day and night!
Mr. Delia, thank you for all of your service to the communities of Lakewood Township all of these years.
