The Jackson Township Council previously voted to enact an ordinance to modify the Township's Highway Commercial Mixed-Use Zone (HCMU) zone.
According to a Lakewood Alerts report, "The ordinance is expected to cut approximately 800 housing units from the Adventure Crossing development, a sprawling project that contains large portions of unusable land and commercial zones."
Jackson Township Council President Jennifer Kuhn has just refuted this report, admitting that Adventure Crossing already has an approval for over 500 homes and that - already prior to introduction of this ordinance - they submitted an application for an additional 465 townhomes and these plans remain intact.

As previously reported here on FAA News, the Council waited until now to concede this "little detail" because they needed to use this "major ordinance" to boost support for their recent reelection.

Putting in a application for an additional 400 townhomes does not make them approved.
When we're the plans for the additional homes submitted to Jackson Township. Where are these plans? The additional homes are not approved yet and must be reviewed by the public.
That limit crossroad housing ordinance was a election time sham.
